First of all, Ski Town / Chris was beyond exceptional to purchase with. The experience was pretty much bespoke & he treated me like not only a shopper but a friend; that's much appreciated, and part of what skiing is all about. He's brining the vibe back from the 80's / 90's and that's awesome and much needed.
As for the ski, I was able to spend 3 solid days on it recently, mostly groomers, light powder and some muck w/ crust under; It feels like an effortless ski to get on edge, hold the edge and getting into turns. Just enough rocker and taper to give it a smooth, but quick transition without that "snappy" feel, making it super versatile for a 92. It's nimble, lively, quick, pops and is a FAST all-mountain ski. I have a stable of Armada Skis and this is definitely something completely different and just what I was looking for. Thx for the suggestion and the ski!
So fun. The 92Ti has a light weight core AND it's bomber on hardpack! High edge angles lets this ski come to life and letting it drift when youre feeling like surfing or slacking are equally easy. In pow it's shape helps it plane, even at slow speeds and it's tip and tail feel disappears, totally unlike the grab most mid-ninety waist metal skis have. This must be the most versatile and hero all mountain ski on the planet.
