2024 Fischer Ranger 96

I don’t generally love the term “all mountain ski”, but i have to admit, this ski is hitting the sweet spot. I’ve had it on in every condition, and it’s been a pleasure to ride. Soft, buttery, nimble in the trees, floaty and free in the powder and makes nice rippy turns on the groomers; and crud, no problem. If i had to take one ski with me on a daily, this would be it. Chris B knows how to listen to what you want and put in the right ski for your skill level and needs. I HIGHLY recommend STAS, but also this particular set of sticks. Paired them up with some Atomic Strive 14 / Bentchetlers.

This ski is exactly what I was looking for. It has the perfect blend of hold and ability to charge while still feeling a little bit softer and more maneuverable under foot. If you're looking for one ski to handle all conditions, this should make the short list.

If you want a wide ski that can rail on edge, send drops and jumps to the moon, and make skiing soft snow better than ever, this is the ski. It's especially nimble considering it's girth, and the rocker is perfect for everything. Best new ski of 2022-2023, hands down.
