The Protect Our Winters Action Fund (POW AF) is a 501c4 that works to make action on climate change a top policy priority for the outdoor sports community. 

Who is more committed and determined to ensure that winters stay deep and summers stay smoke-free than the Outdoor State™?

Launched in 2018, POW Action Fund rallies the Outdoor State™ – snow sliders, loam riders, river runners, and mountain climbers – to prioritize strong climate action up and down the ballot. POW AF supports legislation, ballot initiatives, and other political actions that will have a meaningful climate impact. And we deeply understand that to achieve our goals, we must vote for candidates that will pass this strong policy. Imagine what we could achieve if 175 million impassioned outdoor enthusiasts shouted the importance of voting for Climate Champs from every peak we summit and advocated for badass climate policy on every river we floated
