2026 Salomon QST 106 (Nirvana) + Marker Griffon 13 ID Bindings - BUNDLE DEAL

I was torn between the 106 and 100 but so glad I went with the 106. First trip on these were at Whistler this past weekend and the snow was lousy. Icy and firm everywhere in the morning then slush and chopped up. I was expecting to struggle but man I can’t believe how much grip there is on these on like hard pan icy slopes for a ski this wide. Then it ate up the chopped up crap and plowed through bumps. They are so stable but also pretty lively. Can’t wait to ski on these in snowier conditions. Buying process was easy and the guys got them out to me super quick.

I originally ordered a different ski, but after discussing setup with a couple guys at Ski Town All Stars they convinced me to switch to the QST Blank and I couldn't be happier.

It feels pretty soft when flexing it by hand, but once it's on snow and at speed it's damp and stable with more life than I expected on hard pack. It's too wide to be considered a carving ski, but the relatively squared off tail created surprising edge hold in a variety of turn shapes. I've only had a chance to ski it in a couple inches of fresh snow, but it easily blasted through the chop that followed with no deflection. I had a great time popping off small side hits and moguls on it and landings were solid. I assume the relatively soft flex and tip rocker will be great in deeper snow, but I haven't had a chance to test it out yet. The only condition it has struggled with so far is ice, but it's tolerable and obviously isn't the intended use for this ski anyway. It'll make a great daily driver for my skiing style.

I'm very happy with the Blank, and I can't say enough about the guys at Ski Town All-Stars. They could have just processed my initial online order and moved on, but instead took the time to make sure I was in the best setup and they nailed it. Great ski, even better service. Will definitely shop with them again.
