2027 Blizzard Sheeva 9

I have been skiing on 2024 Blizzard Sheeva 9s and love them! So, I bought another pair and have declared by 2024s my rock skis. I'll ski on my new Sheevas when conditions improve and there are less thin spots.

I teach skiing and my widest ski has been the old Brahma 88 underfoot and currently the Brahma 82. I also ski a Firebird 70cm and Phoenix 76cm. I ski a lot of piste/off piste terrain…bumps/steeps. I’m also 65….not a ‘drop n driving’ 20yo. So this is a wider ski for me…..they roll over nicely on groomed and chopped powder, short and spry turns or long and languid, float nicely in 6-8” fresh pow. I found myself being back in the bumps and retightened my boots…a bigger-wider ski and looser boots aren’t a great match. Likely some user error too! Tighter boots improved my being over them. The Sheevas are a beautiful ski that will take another day or 2 for me to get them to dance in all terrain and for me to ski them in the steep trees with the confidence I usually have. I liked my first day on them, for sure! They are sassy with purple Marker griffon bindings!!
