Amazing Daily Driver

I love this ski. The Transalp 105 CTI quickly became my go to ski last season. I used it for all conditions. from blower pow to wind board. I skied it throughout Colorado and was my go to ski in April up in Valdez, AK. I even skied it inbounds a few times. I'm really looking forward to getting back on it this coming winter.

Great skis for the backcountry and the resort!

In a time when gear gets more and more specialized these skis are incredibly versatile. Compared to most skis in this range that are designed for powder these skis are stiff and stable enough to shred on the groomers, in variable backcountry snow and are still wide enough to float playfully through the pow!

Excellent ski that can do it all.

After getting the Transalp 105 and using it extensively this past winter, I've been really impressed with it. It has fared well in deep snow, variable conditions, and everything in between. I've used it in continental, intermountain and maritime snowpacks, from -20˚ mid winter days, to 45˚ springtime t-shirt skiing and it has continued to excel and given me the confidence that when going out for the first day in a new zone where I may not know what to expect with snow surface conditions, I can rely upon these skis to perform well enough to get the objective/job done.

Great Backcountry Pow ski

I skied the 105 Transalp all last season and I was really impressed with the ski overall. I’m 5.8 and got the 171 length. I also mounted my bindings at a +1 which I was really happy about. It was no surprise that this ski performed great in pow conditions but I was surprised by how well it skied in other conditions too. It handled fantastic in steep terrain and variable snow. It’s got plenty of rocker for deep days but it’s quite stiff which makes it super stable. Overall it’s a super well balanced ski that is now my go to for most days in the mountains.

My go-to, all-arounder for Colorado, Europe and beyond!

I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a pair of the Fischer Transalp CTI Ski this past season. I had previously skied several other models of lightweight skis in the 105 waisted range, but this one takes the cake. A lightweight ski that is capable of handling almost any conditions well.

I brought 2x pairs of skis to Europe this spring.  My Transalp CTI and another skinner and lighter ski for the Haute Route. I ended up realizing that the CTI not only would ski better given the recent snowfall, but was light enough to be a great ski for the iconic traverse in the Alps.
I'm looking forward to logging more vert and turns with these skis this coming season!
